Good Things Come from Humble Beginnings...
NAZ UNITED F.C. was founded in 2010 by Dean Silver in association with the First Church of the Nazarene (Lemont, IL) as a small community club starting with just one team entering into the Northern Illinois Soccer League (NISL) that year. Our soccer club was founded with the basic premise of faith, family and community.
Acting as an extension of the Church's popular recreation program, NAZ UNITED F.C. provided an opportunity for children to play travel soccer at a “non for profit” organization whose players and families did not feel there was a good fit with large for-profit competitive clubs in the area.
Since its inception, NAZ UNITED F.C. has grown to 10+ teams participating in both the NISL & YSSL (boys) and IWSL (girls) as well as Winter Leagues (CISL) or Winter Development Leagues (Grasshopper Indoor) from U8 through U17.
Our coaches focus on the development of our players soccer skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal character. We regularly compete at local and regional tournaments and are proud of our ability to win or place against much larger clubs - all while playing with sportsmanship and integrity. Check out our Gallery page to see some of their accomplishments!
But more important than winning games, medals, or trophy's - NAZ UNITED F.C.'s ultimate goal is that your child leaves practice or a game as a better person, a better player, and wearing a smile!
